So those who hang around my facebook page got a sneak a peek at the book cover for At Every Turn yesterday. (It releases in September.) I'm so glad the response has been good, because I just love it! Doesn't Bethany House do amazing covers?
I'd love to hear what you think!

Looks wonderful, Anne! So excited for you -- I have been checking Baker's website almost every day to see if they have it updated with the August/September/October releases yet. :)
ReplyDeleteLove this cover! Her fitted coat is so smart, and even the road is curvy! The house is gorgeous, too.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to read this.
Congratulations!
Oh I love it! I'm thrilled for you, and can't wait to read it!
ReplyDeleteYes, this one is sharp. She looks like someone I'd like to be friends with!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!!!

Thanks y'all. They captured the spunk in my Alyce exactly right. Can't wait to see what you think of her story!
ReplyDeleteThat is one girl whose story I need to know. She is sassy!
ReplyDeleteShe is certainly something, Heather! A great heart, but oh my! The scrapes she finds herself in!
ReplyDeleteI love this cover! It's beautiful. Is there a book synopsis about this book anywhere online? I tried looking at your previous blog posts to see and couldn't find one. Maybe I didn't go back far enough.
ReplyDeleteOh, I loved "Wings of a Dream" and sent reviews off to Amazon and CBD. The book had a very captivating writing style, interesting characters, and I came away feeling like I learned history that I didn't know much about. That's a good book and one I will re-read. I am soooo glad that you made this book with just the heroine's point of view. It was so refreshing and let us have a few surprises along the way.
I just read that this girl's name is Alyce. My middle name is Alice with an i. It's not a name often used for a heroine so I'm glad you used it. :)
ReplyDeleteBless you, Sylvia, for your sweet words about Wings of a Dream! You have no idea how much they bless me.
ReplyDeleteNo, there isn't a blurb out there quite yet. Very soon, though, I'll share it! Anticipation is good, right? :) And how fun that you already have a connection with this heroine!

ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Laura! Yes, I love this cover. Hey--I'm well into The Frontiersman's Daughter and enjoying it so much! My sister is a huge fan of yours and has been urging me to move your books to the top of my to read pile! :)
ReplyDeleteOh, Anne - wow, how you and your sis bless me:) Can you feel me smiling from ear to ear? You're so thoughtful to let me know! Thanks a million for taking time for TFD! And please thank her, too!
ReplyDeleteIt's so fun to celebrate another stellar cover and story with you - loved your debut!! And I know I'm not alone in saying we're counting down the days till book 2. Bless you.
Oh my goodness! Now I'm the one grinning ear to ear. :) I never imagined you'd read mine! Can we form a mutual admiration society? Lol! Maybe someday we'll get to visit in person.
ReplyDeleteAnne, You're such a dear - I love you already!! And yes, the mutual stuff never hurts:) I always try to help promote other authors and with you it's so easy as I love your writing. Again, you're so thoughtful and I look forward to meeting up with you again online or anywhere:)
ReplyDeleteLove your cover, Anne! I'd call that sassy.:) Makes you want to pick it up and leaf through the pages. Looking forward to reading it!
