The Galleys Are Coming!

My galleys for At Every Turn should be here today! Galleys are the hard copy of my book that I read through and can make any last minute changes. But I can't linger. They arrive today and must be back in the mail on March 5. Of course the fear is always that upon the re-read I'll hate the story. So if you think about it, would you pray that fear will stay far away and instead as I read I'll marvel at God's faithfulness in accomplishing what I could never do on my own?

My guess is that, as you read your galleys, there'll be several moments when you think, "Did I write that? That's good." That's when you know that God was in the process.
Blessings, and many congratulations.

that's awesome and exciting! Congratulations and I will definitely be praying for you - I totally understand what you mean by second guessing yourself (though I've never written a book - nor could I haha). You are an awesome writer and just remember that God gets all the glory - then you won't worry so much! I'm sure your new book will be fabulous if it is anything like the one I'm reading (:

Thanks to all you sweet girls--Marji, Jana, and Chemdiah! It is such a blessing to have encouraging friends.

Amen, Chemdiah. God gets all the glory, because none of it is my doing! So glad you are enjoying Wings of a Dream!

Hey Anne,
So weird that I just sent my galleys back on the 22nd! I found many small errors. Couldn't believe it though it shouldn't surprise me. But as I caught the little errors and some sentences that needed tweaked I also had those moments that Richard talked about. I think to myself, that's not half bad, in fact, that's downright intriguing.:)Let me just say that God was so much in this process. It's the most complicated book I ever wrote. God is good. If you have time read the first chapter over at my website. It's so what I want to write. Just hope someone wants to read it. :) Blessings on the galley work, Anne.
